A couple of new things today. First of all, I've updated the Reveal storyline through May 20th. For this update, it's all Lucky and Elizabeth scenes. I do have the Bacchanalia/Plot to Kill Helena/Laura's Return storyline, but I didn't want it to clog this series, so I will be doing it separately.
I secondly, I'm way overdue for new features. The new featured video is the fantastically fun and catchy "Strip", a multi-fandom "costume film" celebration by Ferd*, and the new featured clip (two scenes in a zipped folder) is a classic Luke and Laura moment from 1984 when Laura shares the news she is pregnant.
*"Strip" is available to download in a divx format, which can be played with the free Divx Player. You can also watch it on YouTube.

Some of you may have already noticed this, but the forum is having issues at the moment. Invisionfree, which hosts my forum, was hacked today, affecting many of their servers. Right now, it appears you can still access the forum through it's original invision address: http://z7.invisionfree.com/LastSafePlace/index.php. It's only my domain forwarding connection that takes you to the hacker message. I'll update the link on this site's main page, but let me know if you still have trouble getting to the forum.
Edit: Nevermind. The problem's been fixed. Happy Easter, everyone!

Taking a break from our regularly scheduled programming: I've added scenes from Lucky (JY) and Elizabeth's New Year's Eve non-wedding. The series only covers Dec. 26th 2001-Jan. 3rd 2002, but it does include one of my favorite Luke and Laura scenes. The NYE series can be found on the Weddings/Engagements clip page.

I've added page for 2008 Lucky and Elizabeth clips. I'm going to attempt to limit clips on the site to scenes they share (or at least to days on which they share scenes), but I will continue to post all of Lucky and Elizabeth's individual clips on the forum.

And, we're back! Happy New Year, everyone! Lots of things to point out, but before I get into any of that, I wanted to say a few words about why the site has been down, for those of you who are not members of the forum and haven't gotten the full story.
I've gotten several emails expressing concerns about my well-being, and I want to thank you again and reiterate that I am well and all is good. It has been a long year, but things have most definitely been on an upswing.
I closed down the site because I needed a break from the behavior of some of my visiters and the treatment, insults, demands, etc, I have been receiving from same. (I cannot stress enough that this is only a small percentage of visitors- most of you with whom I interact are lovely, wonderful people.) As time went by, my patience to deal with said abuse diminished and eventually resulted in my taking the site offline. It was never to be a permanent move, only a time-out for me to regroup and get some work done with less pressure.
So now that I'm back online, I do want to stress a few things.
ONE: BEHAVE YOURSELF, please. I would ask that everyone act like adults, but given that adulthood is no guarantee of maturity, I'll simply request that every visitor here treat me and each other with respect. Nastiness breeds nothing but more nastiness.
TWO: I do not take clip requests on my tagboard. That bears repeating. I Do Not Take Clip Requests on my tagboard. There is a forum attached to this site full of helpful posters who may help if they are able, but I don't have the time to deal with requests myself anymore. Clip requests left on my tagboard will be either deleted or ignored, depending on my mood.
And that's about it.
On to the new stuff!! First of all, obviously, there's a new layout. It's the first time I've coded everything on my own from scratch, so if you spot any broken links, or anything that just looks weird, please let me know.
Secondly, some new features. There is now a gallery for this site, and like this site, it is a work in progress. I've really only just begun to fill it up, so keep checking back. If you will also notice on the right hand side under the tagboard is a list of quick links. The first two take you to the daily clip forums for the Spencer family and for Lucky and ELizabeth at The Last Safe Place. The third takes you to the SoapCentral daily recaps archive, an immeasurably useful site for finding dates or simply reacquainted oneself with storylines and history. The fourth is a link to my video awards site, No Frontiers.
On the new clip front: the new featured clip is the NYE Montage from 1997, which includes Dara singing, Jax and Brenda, Mac and Felicia, Liz and Sarah and the Q's gathered around newly born baby Michael. For the rape reveal storyline, clips are completed through the month of March, and there are several added for the beginning of April. As always, I will continue to work on this series as I have the time.
Okily, dokily then. I've said my piece, given my offering. I can only hope both will be taken in good faith. Here's to a fruitful new year!
